About the opportunity | Nga whakamarama mo te tunga
The Environment team is responsible for climate change policy and urban development policy.
The team's work includes : implementation of the Second Emissions Reduction Plan; land transport, aviation and maritime decarbonisation work programmes; and resource management reform.
We are looking for a high performing candidate to join our Wellington office as a Senior Adviser working on policy issues in the Environment team.
You will be responsible for working with your team manager and principal advisers to lead and shape a variety of key projects, including for transport decarbonisation and resource management reform.
You will also be responsible for supporting more junior advisers.
Based on the work or support that may be required, this position is Wellington based only.

Salary range | Whanuitanga Utu a-Tau
The base salary range budget for this position is $109,208 – $145,055 (mid-point $120,818) per annum + KiwiSaver.
The salary offered will reflect skills and experience.
