About the Role
We’re recruiting multiple permanent Policy Analyst and Senior Policy Analyst roles within a large public sector agency that’s driving change across a wide portfolio of work. These Wellington-based roles sit in a high-impact policy group focused on big P policy, legislation, governance and accountability. You’ll work on large-scale, system-level issues that require strong analysis, an understanding of how government works, and a desire to influence the levers that shape policy outcomes across Aotearoa.
About You
We’re looking for public Policy professionals with two or more years’ experience in policy analysis and development in a central government agency, ideally in a large or complex environment. You’ll need to understand the policy development lifecycle and how to operate within the Machinery of Government. You’ll be based in Wellington; and be a NZ Resident or Citizen.
Qualifications
Candidates with experience in legislation, regulatory frameworks, or public sector funding / budget processes will be especially well-suited, but we’re open to different policy backgrounds.
