We are seeking a passionate and culturally responsive Registered Nurse to join the healthcare team at Auckland South Corrections Facility. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside Maori, Pacific and diverse communities, delivering care that supports oranga (wellbeing), manaakitanga (respectful care) and rehabilitation.

About the Role

You will play a key role in delivering holistic, culturally grounded care by :

• Upholding and applying the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in everyday nursing practice
• Providing care that protects and enhances the mana and dignity of people in custody
• Supporting Maori models of health, including Te Whare Tapa Wha, to inform care planning
• Delivering trauma-informed, culturally safe care that recognises the intergenerational and social impacts on health
• Working in partnership with whanau (where appropriate), iwi, and health providers to support continuity of care
• Advocating for equitable health outcomes
