About the role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
Joinour dynamic team in the position of Facility Lead, a senior role situated atthe front of Manuka House in the heart of central Hamilton. At the Wise Group,our workplace is not just where we conduct impactful work to enhance thewellbeing of individuals, families, and communities – it's our home. AsFacility Lead, you will :
- Work collaboratively with your colleague on the front desk to welcome our service users, staff and visitors within the mental health sector
- Maintain and order stationery and facility supplies
- Identify and co-ordinate maintenance requests as required
- Ensure kitchen (including dishwasher and coffee machine) and meeting rooms are clean and tidy and restocked, and co-ordinate waste services, remove rubbish and recycling from kitchen
- Lead H&S committee and connectors and ensure building safety inductions for new staff and Contractors, including liaising with the landlord
- Maintain staff list for Manuka House for E-text and sending out of e-text, and maintain Manuka House Office Guide, location page on The Well and Office Guide
- Manage building standards and manage building regulatory requirements . BWoF
This role is working 32 hours per week, Monday toFriday, 6 hour per day. The role will require you to be flexible around thesehours.
This is a senior role, so you’ll have a strong administrator background
- Skilled in Microsoft office suite, and knowledge of the health or community sector would be an advantage
- Have exceptional communications skills and be skilled in managing relationships with colleagues, staff, service users and able to build positive relationships at various levels
- Be a team player, with good decision making, analytical and problem-solving skills
- You’ll be happy doing the mundane tasks, as well as the challenging ones
- You’ll anticipate the needs to ensure everything around you runs smoothly
