- Senior to Principal Wastewater Engineer | $130K-$155K
These roles are central to the ongoing success of a respected multidisciplinary consultancy delivering infrastructure and environmental solutions across New Zealand.
Responsibilities
Leadership of wastewater and three-waters projects across Auckland and nationally.Business development and key client relationship management.Technical oversight and delivery excellence on treatment plants, pump stations, and networks.Mentoring and developing high-performing engineers.Strategic input into team growth, capability planning, and future equity / shareholding pathways.Delivery of wastewater design and reticulation infrastructure, project management, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.Client liaison and proposal support.Opportunities to mentor junior staff and contribute to business growth initiatives.What You’ll Bring
For both roles, a Civil, Environmental, or Natural Resources Engineering degree is required. Experience and seniority levels differ by role :
Senior to Principal Engineer : 8+ years of experience.Technical Director : 15+ years of experience with proven team and business leadership.Experience working on municipal wastewater infrastructure projects.CPEng or working towards chartership.Strong communication skills and a passion for collaboration.Commercial and client-facing experience is highly desirable.Why Join
