About the role

Are you an engaging and experienced facilitator who knows how to bring learning to life? If you’re passionate about helping leaders and managers grow their skills and confidence, this could be your next great adventure.

We’re looking for a Senior Trainer to join our Capability and Culture team at DOC. You’ll spend most of your time in delivery mode – facilitating our flagship Kia Māhuri Tōtara Manager Induction Programme and other engaging, practical learning experiences that build leadership and management capability across DOC. While facilitation is your superpower, you’ll also bring a thoughtful approach to designing and refining content that supports our evolving leadership development needs.

What you’ll be doing

• Facilitating engaging face‑to‑face and online learning experiences focused on leadership and management development.
• Reviewing and redesigning current workshops and designing new workshops to best meet the needs of DOC’s people leaders.
• Collaborating across DOC to deliver meaningful development.
• Supporting DOC’s wider strategies including Diversity & Inclusion and Wellbeing.

Salary range : $92,912 – $117,570 pro‑rata depending on skills and experience.
