We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a permanent full-time KingsWay school teacher (Y7-13) – Biblical studies, based primarily in our senior school at our senior campus starting 28 January

Located on the Hibiscus Coast of Auckland, KingsWay is a high achieving state integrated Christian area school catering for Y1-13, with a growing roll of over

• students.

Key responsibilities of the role include :

Effectively teaching Biblical studies to Y

Supporting academic achievement

Relating well to students and staff

The successful applicant will :

Hold a theological qualification

Thrive on imparting their knowledge to Y

Display enthusiasm to see young adolescents understand and grow in faith and knowledge of the scriptures.

Hold a Teaching Registration, or is willing to consider a Limited Authority to Teach (LAT)

An important condition of employment is that applicants must have a willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the Special Christian Character of KingsWay School.

You will enjoy contributing and promoting a biblically informed, Christ-centred worldview, including how this translates to supporting and growing our students' faith, and will protect, enhance, and uphold our Christian character.
