In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.Key Responsibilities IncludePrepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.Participate in internal and external audits as required.Continuously improve accounting processes and procedures.Be a team player who is willing to contribute to the success of the team.This is a fixed term position to 30 June 2026.QualificationsOo puumanawa me oo wheako | Your skills and experienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in financial accounting, financial systems, audit, or taxation.Proficiency in accounting software and tools (e.g.
Excel).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA) is desirable.Knowledge of tax laws and regulations is desirable.Familiarity with auditing processes is preferred.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Experience in IBIS (Breeze) Budgeting software tool is desirable.Experience using Authority as a financial system is desirable.Additional InformationHe aha te wariu o te utu kaimahi?
