About the Role

BDO Auckland Deals Advisory team is seeking an experienced Manager or Senior Manager to join our growing practice. This unique opportunity allows you to apply your expertise in a dynamic and collaborative environment, working alongside senior staff and contributing to high‑impact transactions. You will play a pivotal role in supporting private equity firms, strategic corporate clients and business owners as they execute growth and exit strategies.

The role offers exposure across the full spectrum of corporate finance activities, including financial due diligence (buy and sell‑side), M&A advisory, valuations, capital raising and financial modelling. This role is based in our Auckland CBD office, working Monday‑Friday from 8 : 30 am to 5 : 00 pm, with a maximum of 37.5 hrs per week. The salary range for this role is between $120,000 – $160,000 plus benefits and relocation allowance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial due diligence engagements, ensuring robust analysis and clear reporting
• Advise on M&A transactions, including deal structuring and negotiation support
• Conduct valuations for transactional, reporting and strategic purposes
• Support capital raising efforts through investor materials and financial modelling
• Build and maintain financial models to inform strategic decisions
• Partner with senior team members and clients to deliver high‑quality outcomes
• Contribute to business development and practice growth
