About Us : Foodies, a North Island Co‑op with over 300 stores and 24,000 staff, supports New Zealanders to get more out of life. Our Commercial Operations Group delivers finance, data analysis, accounting and transactional services to the store network.

About The Role

This newly created position leads the Members Accounting Team, driving month‑end and year‑end close, statutory reporting and financial accuracy across the entire store network. You will manage a team of accountants, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and contribute to finance transformation initiatives.

• Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes across the store network
• Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance
• Mentor and develop a team of accountants
• Provide technical accounting guidance and support business change
• Collaborate with outsource partners and internal stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement and finance transformation initiatives

About You

We’re looking for a senior level professional with an accounting qualification (CIMA, CA, CFA) and NZICA membership. Ideal experience comes from Big 4 or large enterprise environments. You should have :
