This 0.40 (FTTE) teaching role will be undertaken on Thursday and Friday each week, starting term 1, 2026.

St Marcellin Primary School is located in Tāwhero, in the beautiful river city of Whanganui, New Zealand. It is a state integrated Catholic special character school catering for students in an inclusive, co-educational, multi-cultural environment, Y0-8.

Primary (Y0–8) certificated teacher who can teach across the following areas of learning; Religious education, English, health, and ohysical education, mathematics and statistics, science, social sciences, Te reo Māori, the arts.

St. Marcellin Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced teacher, 0.4 (FTTE) principal release, to join our team and facilitate exciting learning programmes for an amazing group of Y3-5 students on a Thursday and Friday.

Successful applicants will be expected to uphold / support the Catholic special character of the school. In addition to this, the successful applicant will be confident in planning, implementing, and assessing literacy and numeracy programmes as well as integrating all other areas of the New Zealand Curriculum in their daily programmes.

Position commences term 1, 2026.
