Cater Plus is the proud service provider for the new Ashbury Heights Resthome in Whangarei.

We are committed to providing high quality meals that are produced fresh everyday.

To be successful in this role you need to be able to multitask, have a friendly disposition and show good communication skills in order to interact with care staff and residents.

We are seeking a Catering Assistant to work 20 hours per week across a 7 day roster, morning and evening shifts.

Responsibilities

Support our talented chefs by keeping the kitchen clean and doing dishes

Be able to work safely in a commercial kitchen with large hot pots and trays

Be able to follow instructions to prepare and serve delicious and wholesome meals

Be an exceptional team player who is able to take responsibility and work unsupervised

Qualifications / Requirements

Have a practical understanding of New Zealand Food Control and safety regulations

Have good time management skills

Police vetting is a requirement for this role
