In recent years the Anaesthetic Technician training has changed to a degree based programme with a look towards a broader scope than previously.

This will be reflected in the way you approach the education towards our Perioperative Practice trainees.

The Perioperative Unit Educator will also provide education support for our qualified Anaesthetic Technicians and provide upskilling training to the wider unit as required.

You should be at least 4 years post qualification and ideally with a qualification in education, though this is not essential.

You will have a good understanding of the new degree programme and what is required of the students from semester to semester.
