Role Description

This is a full‑time Site Engineer role based on‑site in Christchurch. The Site Engineer will oversee and manage daily construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality. Responsibilities include supervising fieldwork, coordinating with team members and contractors, ensuring compliance with structural and civil engineering standards, and maintaining accurate project documentation. The Site Engineer will contribute to quality control measures and assist in resolving technical challenges on‑site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in on‑site project management and coordination.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members, contractors, and stakeholders effectively.
• Knowledge and expertise in quality control processes to ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards.
• Background in structural engineering and civil engineering with a solid understanding of project planning and execution.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or related disciplines are highly desirable.
• Familiarity with 3 waters infrastructure projects is an advantage.
