The sales assistant role will see you recommendingproducts, solutions, and inspiration to our customers for a range of productsfrom outdoor furniture, BBQs, camping, cooling, and heating equipment.Thesuccessful applicant will be required to work closely with the Retail manager,handling aspects of seasonal departments from customer service to handling allstock matters and one-off situations that arise on a day-to-day basis.Theperson we seek to fulfil the function in the department must have the abilityto remain cool under pressure and be able to think on their feet.To besuccessful you must have : Effectiveselling skills and commitment to provide excellent customer service.Be adetail minded self-starter.Beable to multi-task, and have the ability to follow through and follow upthings up in a timely manner.PhysicallyFit.Confidenceto make decisions as required.Becomputer savvy.You areon your feet for 8.5 hours a day, lifting, assembling and handling items suchas outdoor furniture settings so an element of physical fitness and ability isrequired.Experiencein a similar role, and / or retail environment will be beneficial.
