Experience Required :

Minimum of five years of recent clinical experience in primary care nursing.

Special interest in gerontology is advantageous.

Functioning at an expert level on the senior clinical career pathway.

Up-to-date with current issues in nursing and gerontology.

Sound knowledge of medico / legal and ethical responsibilities.

Qualifications :

Clinically focused master's degree in nursing with prescribing rights.

Registered Nurse Practitioner with NZNC.

Current practicing certificate.

Nurses who are currently in the final stages of achieving Nurse Practitioner registration will also be considered.
