Horticulturalist

What the job involves

As one of our Horticulturalists you’ll perform a range of tasks to contribute to ensuring our parks and are not only beautiful but also serve as vital community hub. Your time will be spent on a variety of amenity horticulture processes including gardening, spraying, weeding, trimming, edging and pruning with machinery operation including mowing on a number of different machines dependent on aptitude and licences or qualifications held.

Our standard working week is Monday to Friday, 8 hours each day starting at 7.30am. This position will provide a challenge, satisfaction and an extremely large ‘backyard’. For more information on this role view the position description.

Who we are looking for

Friendly individuals who are physically fit, with a can-do attitude and enjoy working outdoors. Relevant experience within the industry or a similar role is preferable but team fit is the key element. A full clean driver’s license is a must, with additional licences such as HT or WTR Endorsement advantageous. We currently have a number of vacancies to fill.
