Sales Manager - Anaesthesia & Surgical

About the opportunity

Our sales team at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare is committed to improving the care and outcomes of patients in the NZ market through changing clinical practice. We now have an opportunity for a Sales Manager to lead our dedicated team, managing the anaesthesia and surgical market.

This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, leading from the front to create our sales message and approach, develop our sales people and achieve long term sustainable growth. You will need to be a ‘can do’ leader, driving the development and delivery of our clinical message.

Reporting to the Business Manager – NZ you will be responsible for the overall success of the NZ anaesthesia and surgical business, driving adoption of Fisher & Paykel humidification technology in the operating room environment through thoughtful strategy and execution, collaboratively with your team.

Being based in our Global Head Office in East Tamaki, Auckland, you will also work closely with various Product Teams on R&D projects, product development and early product access into the market.

Significant national travel and some international travel will be necessary to fulfil the role.

Skills & Experience

As this is a critical role in our business, you will have proven medical sales experience, an analytical mindset and the ability to demonstrate strategic, long-term thinking. We are looking for a proven leader with :

• Strong medical sales experience
• People management experience would be an advantage
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Exceptional and proven time management and prioritisation skills
• Budget and product management experience
