The role : Reporting to the Service Manager you will be the first point of contact for our customers regarding any machine service or repair requirements, for equipment we have previously sold to the customer.
This role would suit those with previous customer service, strong accounts / administration, and coordination experience – those with attention to detail and a proven ability to problem solve and lead communications.
Responsibilities : Open new job's ensuring all relevant information is entered including customer order number, machine details, make and model, km / hrs, correct serial numbers, registration number etc Work with Parts Correspondents to ensure there is stock on hand that we need Submit warranty claims to our Warranty department Assist Service Foreman with weekly invoicing to go out Answering all incoming calls to the Service area Organise the preparation of service job packs for the mechanics to take to site for their repairs Prepare and send quotations Code supplier invoices Send out customer service inspection and defect reports to customers.
Maintain workshop scheduling system for all workshop jobs on Responsible for maintaining WIP and ensure this is up to date and accurate for reporting Be the right hand to the Service Manager What we need : Previous experience in a similar role, or in a heavy automotive workshop environment Previous experience with processing orders, invoices, client files Able to work independently and within a team environment Very reliable and punctual – you are the admin back bone of the branch Well organised, methodical and efficient High levels of accuracy Understand the importance of great customer service Open, warm and friendly approach to others.
As Health and Safety is paramount in this industry, you will be up to speed with practices and be able to demonstrate this in your work habits.
This knowledge will help you to promote the company image in a professional manner as well as provide first-class customer service.
