About the role :

Trades Academy (secondary school students) Plumbing - February to September on Thursdays

NZ Cert Plumbing, Gasfitting and Drainlaying Level 3 - February to July (approx. 6 hours per week)

NZ Cert Foundation Level 2 (Trades pathway) - 5 weeks over May to June on Fridays

Key Responsibilities include lesson planning, face-to-face practical and theory teaching, health and safety facilitation, assessment marking and meeting all quality assurance requirements of the course delivery.

About you :

Be a Certified Plumber, Gasfitter or Drain Layer.

Be able to teach plumbing, gasfitting and drainlaying topics.

Have current registration with the NZ Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board.

Have a recognised National Certificate in Plumbing, Gasfitting and / or Drainlaying (Level 4).

Have recent practical industry experience, including knowledge of current regulatory requirements.

Have digital literacy and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Be approachable, adaptable and have a passion for working with youth.
