Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk (Strategic and ESG Risk)

We have a rare and exciting opportunity on offer for a Senior Manager to join ASB's Enterprise Risk team for a 12-month fixed term period. This role is responsible for developing and executing critical Line 2 risk activities over ASB's Environment and Social Risks, and Strategic Risks. This includes policy development, risk oversight and business challenge activities relating to these risks. The role is also responsible for management and oversight over ASB's Risk Management Framework, and 3LoA framework.

You will act in an advisory capacity to effectively 'advise & challenge' business leaders and support Risk best practice across ASB and work collaboratively with other Line 2 Risk teams to support the development and execution of key strategic initiatives.

Your day to day will include the following :

• Leading the oversight and challenge over Strategic and Emerging risk management at ASB, including Environmental and Social Risk
• Delivering strategic and emerging risk reporting to senior and executive management and ASB Board
• Collaborating with a range of senior and executive stakeholders to achieve sustainable risk outcomes, using excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills
• Providing policy governance for Enterprise Risk owned policies such as ASB's Risk Management Framework, including annual reviews, compliance obligation management and control operation
• Lead oversight and co-ordination activities regarding ASB's 3LOA model
• Supporting the HO Enterprise Risk with the public disclosure of climate-related risk management processes
• Culture - fostering a strong Risk Culture and growth mindset, role modelling the ASB 'mindsets'
