Dash Swim School arelooking for an enthusiastic and committed person to join our team of SwimInstructors.

We will provide you with all the training required, you'll justneed to bring a can-do-attitude and be prepared to be in the water to teach our tamariki swimming skills.This part-timeposition (13 hours per week) offers flexibility to workaround your life.

The hours of work will vary from term time to schoolholidays.The hours of work forthis position are : Monday 9 : 15am– 6 : 00pm (6 hours within this timeframe)Friday 3 : 00pm– 6 : 00pm (3 hours)Saturday 8 : 00am – 12 : 00pm (4 hours)You will need to beable to commit to working all the shifts above.All about the jobOur Swim School Philosophyis simple; first we teach you to survive in the water, then we teach you toswim.

As a Dash Swim Instructor you will help teach our future generation aboutWater Safety and Swimming.

You will be responsible for : Instructinglearn to swim lessons in the pool, with up to 6 children per classInstructingschool lessons with up to 10 children per classEnsuringchildren are safe during the lessonsTeachingspecific water safety lessonsProvidingexcellent customer service and providing effective communication tocare-givers regarding the child's progression.We will provide all the training you need to do this role.

You willbecome first aid qualified which provides 4 NCEA credits.

You'll also have theopportunity to complete a NZ Certificate in Aquatics Level 3 (40 credits), andLevel 4 (120 credits).

All about youYou will need to bepositive and energetic and be confident in the water.

Enthusiasm for workingwith children is required and we offer full training and qualifications to allDash Instructors.
