Overview
Due to continued growth, we're seeking a Class 4 Delivery Driver / Production Assistant to join our team at our new, purpose-built Cromwell facility.
In this hands-on role, you'll be involved in both production and delivery activities — from operating rollforming machinery and manufacturing flashings, to loading, unloading, and delivering roofing products throughout Central Otago.
What you'll do
Truck Driver Responsibilities
Deliver roofing materials across Central Otago
Load and unload trucks safely
Pick and prepare customer orders for delivery
Manage inwards goods and delivery documentation
Ensure vehicle and equipment are well maintained
Follow all road safety and company procedures
Operate rollforming machinery and manufacture flashings
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch
Assist with inwards goods and stock organisation
Maintain a clean and tidy work area
Report simple faults and follow safety procedures
Work collaboratively to meet production targets
Production Assistant Responsibilities

Qualifications & Requirements
Full Class 4 driver licence (essential)
Experience operating factory or sheet metal machinery (e.g. roll former, slitter, guillotine, or folder)
Experience in manufacturing, transport, or warehousing environments
Forklift licence (preferred - or training provided)
Physically fit and confident with manual handling and heavy lifting
Hiab or overhead gantry crane experience (advantageous)
Mechanically minded with the ability to identify simple faults
Positive attitude and willingness to learn new machinery and processes
