We are seeking a learning support coordinator in a permanent position here at Masterton Intermediate School, starting on Monday, January 26, 2026. This role will be 1.0 LSC for next year and then may involve a teaching component from 2027 (depending on roll size and Ministry allocation).
We are seeking applicants who are able to develop positive relationships with our students and their whānau. This position would also involve working with support agencies, as well as leading the transition process to and from our kura takawaenga.
The successful applicant will be responsible for programmes that support our students’ learning needs as well as their behavioural, emotional and social requirements. They will provide support for our learning assistants and teacher aides.
In return, we will provide a strong, collaborative team who have a positive focus on enjoying our mahi together while enabling our ākonga to become the best that they can be.
