Warehouse Storeperson

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Store Person to join the fast-paced Operations team at our Christchurch branch.

This role is based in our Freezer department, where you'll play a vital part in ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time.

Position snapshot :

Location : Cumnor Terrace, Woolston

Shifts : Monday to Friday, between 07 : 00 am – 04 : 00 pm

Position : Permanent, full time

About the Role

As a Store Person in the freezer, you will :

Work in a temperature-controlled environment (freezer temperatures as low as -18°C) – PPE provided.

Pick and pack frozen food products for customer orders with precision and efficiency.

Replenish frozen stock and maintain accurate inventory records.

Keep the freezer storage area clean, organized, and safe.

Key Responsibilities :

Pick and pack goods for dispatch with a high level of accuracy.

Ensure orders are packed and dispatched on time.

Operate an Aisle Master forklift safely within the freezer environment.

Wrap pallets, assist with loading and dispatching.

Perform routine freezer maintenance and cleaning.

Assist with stock takes and general warehouse duties.

About you

You'll bring experience from a warehouse or logistics environment, ideally with a background in pick-packing.

This is a physically demanding role that requires resilience, accuracy, and the ability to thrive under pressure.

Essential Attributes :

Previous experience in a freezer or cold storage warehouse required.

Ability to work in temperatures as low as -18°C.

Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting.

Strong attention to detail and time management.

Basic literacy and numeracy skills.

Scanning and computer skills (advantageous).

Forklift license (advantageous).

Reliable transport and excellent attendance record.

Positive attitude and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
