Supply and Distribution Manager

We are a retail store dedicated to ensuring efficient, reliable, and high-quality operations from warehouse to customer. As a key part of our growing logistics and supply chain team, we’re seeking a proactive Supply and Distribution Manager to oversee inventory flow, optimize warehouse storage operations, and maintain seamless coordination across our distribution network within our large warehouse.

The Role

The Supply and Distribution Manager will take ownership of all warehouse and inventory operations, ensuring goods are received, stored, and distributed accurately and efficiently. You’ll manage a dedicated team, streamline processes, and maintain high safety and quality standards while keeping stock movement aligned with business demand.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.

Manage and optimize inventory flow, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimal shrinkage.

Develop and implement systems to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.

Lead, train, and motivate warehouse and logistics staff to meet performance and safety standards.

Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics (e.g., accuracy, turnaround times, space utilization).

Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Identify and implement improvements in layout, process automation, and warehouse technology.

Manage supplier and transport relationships to ensure smooth inbound and outbound operations.

Successful candidates must have at least 2 years of proven relevant work experience or a relevant qualification of at least level 4 or above relevant to carpentry, trades, or construction.

Please note this is a full time role with guaranteed hours of at least 30 hours per week.
