Senior Electrical Instrumentation and Controls Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Instrumentation and Controls (EI&C) Engineer to join our Intelligent Systems team in Christchurch, New Zealand . As an experienced EI&C engineer, you will apply standards and a best practice approach to the delivery of EI&C projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support project lifecycle documents including proposals, concept designs, detailed designs, and operations and maintenance documents
• Provide technical input and expertise on a variety of critical infrastructure projects
• Undertake assigned tasks independently within agreed timeframe and quality
• May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or have accountability for ongoing activities or objectives
• Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience, both on projects and as part of the Jacobs team
• Be accountable
• Your experience allows you to develop design artifacts with limited supervision and support larger EI&C programs of work
• Understand quality systems and follow them on a day-to-day basis
• Have experience developing EI&C designs in major infrastructure environments and use this experience in water, power and renewable sectors, plus other sectors as directed
