Senior Quantity Surveyor - Renewable Energy Projects

We’re looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with deep and demonstrable expertise and knowledge in contract administration to join our Christchurch team. This is your chance to take on a high-impact role, ensuring the commercial success of utility-scale renewable energy projects across New Zealand.

What You’ll Do

• Take ownership of EPC contract administration from award to close-out, ensuring obligations and risks are actively managed.
• Work closely with procurement team with compile, negotiate and manage subcontracts, professional services agreements and supply only agreements whilst optimising flow down provisions.
• Draft, issue, and manage notices, variations, and claims in line with both head contract and subcontract requirements.
• Prepare payment claims / payment schedules up and down stream.
• Lead project cost controls, forecasting, and reporting to protect profitability and minimise risk.
• Advise and support project managers, engineers, and site teams with expert contractual guidance.
• Prepare and submit claims for delay and disruption under the head contract and defend those from the supply chain.
• Contribute to any dispute resolution, claims preparation, and strategic risk management.
