Rotorua Library, Te Aka Mauri is seeking a Learning & Engagement Specialist to join our vibrant Community Learning Team. This role focuses on designing and delivering engaging learning experiences for adults, while supporting the team to provide lifelong learning opportunities for all ages.
Reporting to the Community Learning & Promotions Lead, you’ll play a key role in engaging our community and activating the library through innovative and inclusive programmes—from digital, financial, civic, and health literacy initiatives to inspiring community events that spark curiosity and connection.
You’ll collaborate with local organisations and businesses to co-design meaningful learning experiences tailored to diverse age groups—enriching lives and addressing evolving community needs. To thrive in this role, you’ll be a creative thinker with a solutions-focused mindset, highly organised, collaborative, and an excellent communicator.
