The Opportunity :
We have a number of Cashier positions available to join our Nelson - based team! Immediate start!
About the Role :
As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of cash services – an essential function that remains operational even during business closures. Our division supports banks, businesses and commercial clients, ensuring reliable access to cash across the Nelson region.
Please note, this is a 30 hour per week position, with a 12 : 00 PM start time .
This is a physically active role that requires standing for long periods, lifting, and handling cash manually with machines in a secure, 24 / 7 monitored facility .
Key Responsibilities :
Packing, counting and verifying cash (both manually and using machinery)
Working efficiently as part of a team to meet strict deadlines and targets
Maintaining accuracy and focus in a fast-paced environment
Mandatory Requirements :
To progress through the recruitment process, you must consent to and be able to satisfy pre-employment checks, including :
Driver’s License, Credit Checks, Ministry of Justice Criminal History and Immigration checks.
Residency & Work Eligibility – You must currently reside in the Nelson region and be legally eligible to work in New Zealand.

Has previous experience in cash handling or banking (preferred but not required).
Works efficiently under pressure and meets strict deadlines.
Is highly responsible, detail-oriented, and quick to learn new processes.
Maintains a strong commitment to health & safety compliance.

Has reliable transport to ensure consistent attendance and punctuality (Mandatory)
