Community Engagement Manager - Northern Region
Are you an outstanding people leader and manager, with significant senior leadership experience in a community engagement related role, along with significant links into your community and are you able to demonstrate your capability to leverage those links?
This role will be required to lead the Northern regional Community Engagement team, with staff based in both Tāmaki Makaurau and Te Tai Tokerau. The role supporting the building and maintaining of authentic relationships and effective engagement activity in communities with lower rates of participation in democracy - ensuring that efforts consider both the Electoral Commission's Poutokomanawa - our values and our strategic priorities and objectives.
It is essential that you have firm understanding of engagement best practice, applying your extensive community engagement and relationship management experience to build engagement practice and support the capacity of our team to engage with communities and priority partners. This role will be required to drive regional engagement through both evidence informed design and community collaboration that builds trust and confidence.
The salary for this role is $127-$141k
