Awatapu College is seeking a dedicated and professional Student Support Officer who is detail‑oriented, enjoys helping others, and works collaboratively to achieve great results. You will bring a professional approach, strong time management, and a knack for solving problems logically and calmly, even when things get busy.
The role involves working 37.5 hours per week during term time, with regular hours from 8 : 00 am to 4 : 00 pm and a 30‑minute lunch break. You may be required to work an extra week at the end of Term 4 and again at the start of Term 1 after the Wellington Anniversary weekend. Occasional evening work may be required for events such as Open Night or interview evenings. Extra hours or days during school holidays will be paid accordingly.

As the dedicated sick bay officer, having a valid First Aid Certificate would be beneficial, though not essential, as the successful candidate will be provided with the necessary training. You will ideally hold a full clean licence, as you may be required from time to time to visit caregivers’ homes to support transport requirements. Due to this role being within the education sector, passing a Police Vetting Application is also required.
