Select how often (in days) to receive an alert : Join a high performing, collaborative and supportive Protective Security teamPermanent full time | Auckland CBDSalary $75,114 - $88,266 + Kiwisaver + Employee Wellness BenefitsJoin our dynamic team as an Advisor, where you'll provide security response expertise to enable MBIE to achieve its business priorities, meet Government-mandated protective security requirements and achieve a high level of capability maturity.The Advisor Security Events is a mature experienced security practitioner with a good understanding of all aspects of the New Zealand Government's Protective Security Policy Framework, particularly : Responding to security incidents, ensuring they are identified, reported, investigated and resolved;Providing security advice to staff attending external conferences and other organised events; andBuilding awareness of security with staff to strengthen security culture on site and at other work locations.You will support the Head of Protective Security and the Chief Security Officer to ensure MBIE has robust and functional protective security processes that are fit for purpose and enable business groups to carry out their business activities safely and securely.

You will work with lead / principal / senior advisors, people leaders and their teams, site security champions, facilities managers, and external venues to achieve this.You will regularly review incidents and events, and recommend improvements arising from lessons learnt, to ensure MBIEs physical security treatments remain in good working order.Nga pukenga me nga wheako e hiahiatia ana - Skills and Experience RequiredTo be successful in this role you will have : A good understanding of the Government's Protective Security Requirements, particularly relating to physical security PHYSEC security zone one spaces, and security governance GOV4 and GOV6 .
