BestStart Ferry Road is looking for a caring and dedicated Caregiver to join our warm, multicultural centre.

With a strong focus on Celebrating Diversity, Belonging, and Early Literacy, our team of 14 passionate Kaiako brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and heart to our learning community.

As a Caregiver, you'll support our tamariki across their developmental journey, nurturing strong relationships, creating inclusive spaces, and championing the values that make our centre unique.

About the Role This is a permanent position , working 25 hours per week, Monday–Friday .

In this role, you will : Work alongside our 2-5 year old tamariki Provide exceptional care and support for tamariki Build trusting, positive relationships with whanau and colleagues Help create a safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environment Uphold and model our centre philosophy and values Promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children What We're Looking For A caring, positive attitude and genuine love for tamariki Strong communication and teamwork skills A willingness to learn, grow, and support others Experience working with children under five (qualification not required) Initiative and the ability to take direction confidently Why BestStart?
