We are currently looking for an administrative superstar to join our team as a Broker Associate to join our team based in Dunedin.
Your exceptional attention to detail will be crucial in providing administrative support to our brokers and assisting clients with their account, coverage, and policy inquiries.
Additionally, excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be interacting with various stakeholders, both internally and externally.
You will need to be confident, proactive, adaptable, and resilient.
These traits will enable you to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Your ability to think on your feet and make quick, informed decisions will be crucial in this role.
We value enthusiasm and a passion for learning, although previous insurance experience would be an advantage, it is not required as we will provide full training and support to ensure your success in the role.How You\'ll Make An ImpactResolve client queries (account and cover queries and policy amendments)Assist the Broker with administration to ensure client requirements are met and policies are renewed on timeProcess alterations, endorsements and set up new policies and finance agreementsProvide support to the client when the Broker is unavailablePrepare and dispatch renewal letters (including declarations, rating charts / underwriter placing's) after consultation with the BrokerAssist the Broker with the collection of premiums within the required timeframePrepare underwriter submissions and client reports for new businessSkills and ExperiencePrevious experience in an administrative or customer service rolePrevious insurance experience will be an added advantageThe ability to build and maintain enduring relationships with clients and team membersHighly organised and efficient with a strong attention to detailAbility to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environmentCompetent / advanced user of Microsoft OfficeA Certificate in Financial Services (NZQA Level 5) is required for this role.
