KŌrero mŏt te Tūranga | About the Role
As a Senior Test Analyst, you’ll be a recognised specialist in software quality assurance and test automation. You’ll lead testing strategy, implement automation, and provide independent assurance across our digital platforms and integrations.
You’ll work closely with Agile delivery squads, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure our solutions are robust, secure, and user-centred. This role is key to uplifting testing maturity and embedding a quality engineering mindset across the organisation.

Hours of work
Permanent full‑time position 40 hours per week - From time to time, as required, the role may require work outside of normal work hours for emergency and flood response and to represent Environment Canterbury at meetings and events with partners, other agencies, and the community.
Location
This position is predominantly based at 200 Tuam Street, Christchurch
Salary
The indicative salary range for role is $87,491 to $108,078 per annum depending on skills and experience. The specific salary will be discussed at interview stage.
