The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of the Evo platform team. Evo is Seequent’s next-gen cloud-based platform, with open APIs and open-source schemas and data converters. The Developer Experience team is dedicated to building internal and external tools that empower developers—both within our organization and across our customers and partners—to work more efficiently and effectively with the Evo ecosystem.

You will play a key role in shaping the developer experience by designing and delivering high-quality, user-friendly tools, frameworks, and documentation platforms. This includes our developer portal, and open-source offerings. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to open-source projects and collaborate with a vibrant community.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to :

• Design, architect and develop solutions across our developer portal and open source projects.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following modern best practices.
• Enhance developer experience by building tools that streamline workflows and improve usability.
• Conduct code reviews, implement testing strategies, and improve CI / CD pipelines to ensure high-quality and reliable releases.
• Collaborate closely with other development and cross-functional teams.
• Play an active role in release management and deployment strategies.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Engage in technical discussions and advocate for continuous improvement and innovation.
• Apply project management techniques to define scope, manage risks, track progress, and deliver outcomes aligned with the agreed strategies.
