For our Trainee Sonographers we provide a multidisciplinary approach in a supportive, mentoring and training environment making it one of the most successful teaching hospitals in New Zealand.
You will be supported through the University of Auckland in completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Health Science (Ultrasound).
About the Team / Service / LocationWe have a vibrant and enthusiastic team of Sonographers working in both an Inpatient and Outpatient service over two locations, Middlemore Hospital (MMH) and Manukau Health Park.
You will be challenged clinically on a broad variety of examinations including general, Obstetrics and gynaecology, small parts, musculoskeletal, paediatric, neonatal and vascular examinations.For more information on living and working in South Auckland, please click hereAbout youAs a Trainee Sonographer you will be employed at Middlemore Hospital while completing the Postgraduate Diploma in Health sciences (Ultrasound) at the University of Auckland.A Bachelors degree in Medical imaging or a related Health science field degreeWillingness to learn and take feedback.
