Event Manager
Join Randstad New Zealand as an Event Manager. This is a temporary, short‑term assignment based in Wellington Central, with a flexible work schedule of 30 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end management of the client’s major annual company conference scheduled for November 26th – 28th.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute all phases of the event lifecycle, including post‑event wrap‑up.
- Select, negotiate, and manage external vendors or event partners to deliver a high‑quality event.
- Coordinate seamlessly with the internal EA and Communication Manager to ensure alignment with internal objectives.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Event Manager or in a similar senior event coordination role, ideally with large‑scale corporate or cultural conferences.Exceptional organisational, project management, and time‑management skills.Experience managing external vendors and event partners.Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a tight‑knit team.Any experience or appreciation for Māori cultural initiatives and terminology is highly beneficial.At Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
