TeTuranga?– About the role

As a member of the Supply Chain Engineering team, you will be instrumental in maintaining and improving the equipment in our three Auckland distribution centres and a cross dock in Whangarei.

Your responsibilities would include :

Conducting preventative maintenance and minor repairs on various Distribution Centre equipment (e.g. racking, doors, refrigeration, MHE).

Performing basic building repairs including plumbing, carpentry, and painting.

Install and maintain signage, barriers, bollards, fencing, and office / warehouse fixtures.

Coordinating contractor work onsite and ensure safety documentation (JSA / PTW) is in place.

Supporting compliance efforts including Building Warrant of Fitness and update tasks in the MEX system.

Assisting with engineering projects and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance safety.

The ideal candidate for this role will have :

Minimum 3 years' experience in engineering, asset management, or facility maintenance.

Familiarity with MHE and battery types; safe use of hand and power tools (welding / lathe skills a plus).

Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office; MEX system experience preferred.

Licences preferred : Car, Forklift, Elevated Work Platform.

Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and adapt to urgent tasks.

Flexible availability to support 24-hour operations when required.
