OverviewFull time, fixed term position from 28 / 01 / 2026 to 27 / 01 / 2027 (unforeseen roll growth).

Role : Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacher in Mathematics and Statistics.

We are open to candidates with a mix of subject knowledge and the flexibility to teach in other areas in the future.Curriculum and teaching approachIn 2024, after several years of research and planning, we launched an innovative and progressive semester-based curriculum structure designed to inspire students to become passionate about their learning.

The focus is on engagement and meaningful learning through contextualised courses and allowing students greater choice and agency over the subjects they choose.

This structure also allows teachers to teach in multiple areas across the school and upskill in subjects they wish to consider.

There is scope to propose new courses each year where staff and student interest allow.School culture and pastoral careOur school is driven by genuine student and whanau connection, and a desire to explore new learning opportunities as we guide our akonga through Y9 to 13.

Nearly all teaching staff are Whanau Teachers who contribute to our pastoral system by looking after student well-being and building a sense of whanaungatanga.
