Routes : Across Auckland Metro Area.

Locations : Based out of Onehunga / Wiri Auckland.

Hours : min 40 hours, full-time permanent position working on AM Shift (5am start), with our Visy Freight Division.

What you'll do :

• Operate side curtain, Single Semi-Trailer combinations for timely and efficient freight pick-up and deliver to multiple sites across Auckland Metro Area.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.
• Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
• Comply with all company / site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
• Adhere to all load restraint guidelines to ensure freight is strapped for secure transportation.

What You Will Bring :

• A valid Clean Class 5 Licence.
• A minimum of 2 years’ recent experience doing multi-site drops, operating a Class 5 Single Trailer Truck is essential.
• Experience with Curtain Siders, Truck & Trailer or B-Double Trailers is highly desirable.
• Sound knowledge of the Auckland region.
• Excellent communication, time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
• Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
