The Role

The Business Analyst is responsible for the delivery of internal systems projects in accordance with the agreed delivery method.

This is a full-time permanent role in our Christchurch office which focuses on managing and running all our internal systems for our global operation.

Key objectives of the role include engaging with stakeholders, helping them define objectives and requirements, and working with our customers to design solutions and programmes of work to deliver the solution in such a way as to maximise value to Seequent.

Key day to day tasks might typically include :

Establishing and validating requirements.

Curating and managing backlogs, features and stories.

Crafting user-centered experiences that solve identifiable pain points.

Establishing user personas and journeys, business rules, optimised processes, decision trees and any other elements required to bring the requirements to life for all stakeholders.

Creating documentation such as use cases, prototypes, specifications, wireframes, proposals and strategy documents.

Facilitating workshops with groups of customers and internal stakeholders.

To be considered for the role, you will have the following :

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business Information Systems, or related field preferred (or have been working in a similar role for more than 5 years).

Business Process / Analyst with digital experience.

Confident in constructing and leading working sessions.

Passion for and proven capability in user and / or customer experience design.

Proven ability to develop new concepts, design solutions, and shape outcomes.

SaaS Implementation background and / or knowledge of the SDLC.

Domain knowledge in Salesforce, Identity, Entitlement Systems, eCommerce, Data Analytics / BI systems would be very beneficial.

Have experience in business analysis of implementations of SaaS solutions (e.g. Salesforce etc.).

Location and additional Information

This role is office based, in Christchurch.

There may be a requirement, from time to time, to work outside of standard office hours in order to connect with colleagues in other time zones.
