Overview
Rocket Lab is an end-to-end space company delivering responsive launch services, complete spacecraft design and manufacturing, payloads, satellite components, and more. The aim is to open access space and support scientific exploration, Earth observation, climate change missions, national security, and new technology demonstrations. Our Electron rocket is a frequently launched U.S. rocket, and we are developing Neutron for larger constellation deployment. The Space Systems business designs and builds satellites, payloads, and components to support NASA missions and other programs.
About The Role
Based on-site at Rocket Lab's Auckland, NZ facility, the Mechatronics Engineer AI is responsible for developing impactful AI solutions, designing scalable prototypes, and integrating AI with mechanical and electrical systems. You will join a collaborative team running rapid experiments to identify promising AI use cases, while developing robust, scalable infrastructure that supports the whole organization to leverage AI.
