Heart pumping andRoleRotorua Lakes Council is seeking a Fleet Portfolio Lead to take ownership of the strategic management of our vehicle and plant fleet.
This is a key leadership role that ensures our fleet is safe, efficient, compliant, and aligned with Council\'s goals for service delivery and investment.ResponsibilitiesAs Fleet Portfolio Lead, you will be responsible for lifecycle planning, utilisation, and renewal of fleet assets, while overseeing risk, compliance, and procurement processes.
You will provide expert advice and reporting to senior leadership, manage a fleet budget, and mentor the Fleet Coordinator.
This role offers the opportunity to shape the way we manage and optimise our fleet for the future.Qualifications & ExperienceWe are looking for a highly motivated professional with strong asset or programme management experience, excellent analytical and financial acumen, and the ability to build trusted relationships across the organisation and with external stakeholders.
