Steel Fixers and Tyers

Tradestaff is looking for a crew of skilled, experienced steel fixers / tyers for a long-term project. This project will run from April - Dec 2025 .

The project will involve fixing and tying steel for a large project based in Southland.

If you live locally - great!

If you would like to relocate for the year we will look to organise accommodation , particularly if there is a group of you who are experienced living and working together.

To be considered for this role, you will need :

• Proven experience as a steel fixer or tying steel.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Proficient in the use of steel fixing tools and techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Health and safety conscious.
• Fit and strong - this is hard, physical work.
