Do you love tech and want to turn that into a real career?
Are you the person friends and family call when “the Wi-Fi is broken”? Do you enjoy pulling things apart to see how they work?
What you’ll be doing.
You don’t need to know everything on day one – we’ll teach you. But you will :
- Help support and maintain our clients’ networks (switches, routers, firewalls, Wi-Fi, VPNs).
- Do basic setup and changes under guidance from senior engineers.
- Monitor networks, investigate issues, and help fix incidents.
- Work with our ISP team to provision internet and WAN services.
- Talk with clients (email / phone) and keep them updated on progress.
You’ll be based in our Auckland office and work closely with experienced engineers who will coach and support you.
About you.
You’re early in your career – maybe a recent grad, career-changer, or you’ve done some IT support and want to get deeper into networking.
You’ll thrive in this role if you :
Have a genuine interest in networking (home lab, home lab gear, study, Certs like CCNA or similar in progress are a plus).Understand the basics of IP, routing, switching, firewalls, and Wi-Fi (doesn’t have to be expert-level).Enjoy troubleshooting and figuring out why something isn’t working.Communicate clearly and are happy talking to clients as well as colleagues. Are proactive about learning and asking for help when you’re stuck. If you’ve got some hands-on experience (through study, labs, home projects, or an entry-level IT role), that’s great – but attitude and willingness to learn are more important.
What’s in it for you?
Real development : training, support for vendor certifications, and exposure to a wide range of technologies.Variety : you’ll see lots of different environments rather than the same network every day.Supportive team : work alongside senior engineers, security specialists and ISP experts who want you to succeed.Work–life balance : extra day off for your birthday, volunteers leave, and genuine flexibility.Nice extras : pet-friendly office, plenty of free parking, and no heavy bureaucracy or red tape. How to apply
