About the role
This is a challenging role with a busy and changing workload that involves assisting with delegated patient care / transfers, cleaning, housekeeping, operation set-ups and restocking.
This is a casual position working 0 - 80 hours per fortnight, as and when required. Applicants must be available at short notice. To be eligible to apply for this position you must be a NZ citizen, or have a resident or permanent visa status.
About you
While experience in a hospital setting is an advantage we will support the successful applicant with dedicated training in the work that our Perioperative Assistants undertake.
About our team
Perioperative Services (Operating Theatres, CSSD and Day Procedure Unit) manages acute and elective surgical and medical procedures.
We challenge ourselves to be innovative and bold, while always prioritising quality, safe and improved care to support the Wairarapa to be well.
