Water and Drainage Maintenance Technician
Full-time permanent position at Auckland Airport.
Provide planned and reactive maintenance on the Three waters network (stormwater, wastewater, and potable water) across the Airport precinct.
Monday to Friday 7 : 30am-4pm.
Hourly rate $
Responsibilities
Inspect and clear stormwater and wastewater lines.
Flush and jet pipes to prevent or remove blockages.
Repair manhole haunchings and replace damaged lids.
Dig to access underground infrastructure.
Perform drainage maintenance to keep systems working efficiently.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience in underground services / draining related trade roles.
Strong technical understanding of reading and interpreting service drawings, and accurately identifying and locating underground services on-site.
Strong work ethic, not afraid to get stuck in or get hands dirty.
Team contributor, able to collaborate effectively.
Ability to obtain a Class 2, Hiab truck and Fork Hoist license (desirable).
NZQA Level 1 Traffic Management (desirable).
Able to drive manual vehicles.
Good verbal communication skills and positive can-do attitude.
Available to be on-call.
