Overview
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure.
We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment to ensure our customers have continual access to the innovations they rely on.
We work on challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain, and we're looking for talented people who want to help.
You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles.
You'll collaborate across AWS to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing capacity at a low cost for our customers, in an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.
Responsibilities
Maintain inventory levels to ensure stock items are available to support build and repair activities.
Receive parts, check shipments, and issue parts as needed for internal customers.
Load and unload shipments and transport parts between different sites.
Maintain accurate stock records for all items within our care.
Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all workspaces using 7S principles.
A Day in the Life
Your day will be spent carrying out logistical support functions for our Data Centers, including physical control and processing of spare parts transactions, consumables stock replenishment, and cycle counting of stock.
Some travel between sites and owning transport to travel between sites will be required.
You may be required to go into the Data Center after hours and on weekends on occasion.

Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Experience as a logistics professional supporting inventory cycle counts, shipments, maintenance, stock control functions and reverse logistics.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience using computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
